NORTHERN YORKE PENINSULA HOMES
Affordable Independent Retirement Living
About Northern Yorke Peninsula Homes
NYP Homes began back in 1969-1970 when the members of the Apex Club of Kadina built our first property on East Terrace. The land for this property was donated by the late Spence Crosby.
That first building consisted of four single bedroom units and was followed by the construction of three more units shortly after.
Since that time the Board of NYP Homes has built a further eight double bedroom units at 42 East Terrace.
Another five double and one single bedroom units were then built at 12 Ewing Street on land owned by the RSL.
The Board then built another three double units and three units with two bedrooms and a study at 16 Goyder Street.
The most recent units to be completed were the two double bedroom units located on Doswell Terrace in Kadina, bringing our total to 29 affordable living retirement units.
All of the properties are administered by a dedicated group of volunteers, many of whom are relatives of the residents or community-minded people willing to contribute their time and effort to contributing to the ongoing welfare of NYP Homes and its residents. The Board ensures all accounts are paid on time and the needs of all residents are met. The Board does not fundraise.
You are welcome to join the Board.
